Nashiro defeats Castillo to earn WBA super flyweight title (AP)
Nobuo Nashiro of Japan won the WBA super flyweight title Saturday, knocking out Martin Castillo of Mexico in the tenth round. The bout was stopped when a cut above Castillo's left eye began to bleed badly, according to Kyodo news agency. The undefeated Nashiro earned the super flyweight belt in just his eighth professional fight, and improved to 8-0 with five KOs.

Clinton Woods of England will defend his IBF light-heavyweight title against Glencoffe Johnson on Sept. 2 in Bolton, England. It will be the third fight between the two.
