Kyowa defends WBC minimumweight title (AP)
Thailand's Eagle Kyowa kept his WBC minimumweight title Monday with a technical knockout of Japan's Ken Nakajima. Kyowa was in control throughout the scheduled 12-round bout before it was stopped just over a minute into the seventh round. Kyowa, who won the title from Japan's Katsunari Takayama in August, improved to 15-1 with six knockouts.
