CARDIFF City boss Dave Jones has cancelled Christmas in a bid to stay in the top six of the Coca-Cola Championship. The Bluebirds manager will have his players training on Christmas Eve AND Christmas Day ahead of their Boxing Day clash with Plymouth Argyle.

Cuban Gomez tests positive for cocaine
Top Cuban heavyweight Juan Carlos Gomez could be banned for two years after testing positive for cocaine. Both A and B samples showed traces of cocaine, his German promoter, Universum Box Promotion, said Friday. The Cuban is the fourth-ranked heavyweight by the World Boxing Council. Gomez defeated Oliver McCall on Oct. 15 then was tested by the Federation of German Pro Fighters, which could impose the ban.
